On-line seminar Approbation of Pocket Guide for Construction Materials Sector Specialists, EaP GREEN Program’s RECP Demonstration Component 24 October 2017
In 2016, as a part of EaP GREEN Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) program funded by the EU, RECP Technology Pocket Guide was prepared and published in national languages of the six EaP countries for specialists working in construction materials sector and roads construction materials production.
To promote wide distribution and use of RECP technology pocket guide in EaP countries on-line seminar is organized for specialists working in the enterprises as well as organizations of these branches in the EU Eastern Partnership countries.
On-line seminar shall be organized and conducted by the Belarusian Center for Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production, established as a result of the EaP GREEN RECP Demonstration component led by UNIDO in 2014 - 2017.
Methodology
The communication lines and technical capabilities of the School of Business and Management of Technologies (SBMT) of the Belarusian State University as a host institution of the National RECP Center, including premises, equipment for video communication, Internet traffic, will be used to organize and conduct the seminars.
Approximately 30-40 technology engineers, energy managers, environmental managers, and other experts from construction industries will be invited to Belarusian RECP center to contribute to direct discussion during the online presentations based on lecturer’s materials and Technology Pocket guide.
Language
Presented materials will be available in Russian and English. Simultaneous translation of lectures from English into Russian will also be provided during the seminars.
On-line transmission
For participants from all the EaP countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine (as well as anywhere in the world) two links will be available as on-line connection to the seminars:
English language, original
Russian language, interpretation
Two links are offered: one is with simultaneous translation into Russian and second is of lectures on English without translation.
There will also be an opportunity for feedback from the participants: they will be able to send questions and comments via on-line chat.
On Tuesday, 24 October, testing of communication lines and technical capabilities for the reception and transmission of video signal and written messages will be conducted one hour prior to the starting time (see the schedule below).
